Coaching at Talk Works assists you to quickly and effectively gain control of your life and achieve your goals. Unlike many Life Coaches, the professionals at Talk Works are all licensed therapists. This means Talk Works coaching services are informed by clinical knowledge of the emotional issues that most frequently prevent individuals from achieving their goals and making necessary changes in their lives. Our coaching services will help you implement life management skills, clarify how you can achieve greater life satisfaction, and develop a clear course of action to meet your personal, relationship, and career goals. Coaching provides you with the structure, tools, guidance, and support necessary to be your best self.
Communication skills training can make you a strong, effective communicator at home and at work. Our communication skills training provides you with proven communication tools to use in your personal and work relationships. We perform an in-depth analysis of your communication style, identify what is not working for you, give you techniques to successfully communicate regardless of the topic or situation, and practice these new skills with you until you are ready to use them on your own. Topics covered include managing emotional reactivity, communicating when angry or upset, making conflict productive, communicating about sensitive or difficult topics, ensuring that you are heard and understood, and improving listening skills. Our communication training is typically a short-term process, consisting of 3 to 4 sessions, and can focus on communication in intimate relationships as well as in business and work-related settings.
